Automotive PVB Film is a kind of the laminated glass interlayer, or called PVB interlayer, it is manufactured commercially by extrusion with PVB resin, plasticizer and additives. PVB film exhibit special characteristics such as transparency, impact resistance, high tensile strength, and elasticity, even if the glass cracks, splinters will adhere to the interlayer and not scatter. These properties make the films and sheets suitable for the manufacture of safety glass.

It is primarily used in the production of the windshield , windscreen of vehicles and aircrafts is the front window, which provides visibility while protecting the occupants from wind and rain. The windshield is usually made of laminated safety glass, which consists of two curved glass plates by adhesive together with PVB films and then bonded to the window frame.

STORAGE
Each layer PVB film is separated by PE film,then vacuumed in aluminum foil bag,and then put into the plywood wooden case. The interleaving PVB well packed in vacuum aluminum membrane needs to be stored in dry and clean warehouse with normal temperature (better less than 30℃).But the unpacked PVB should be kept in below 18-25℃，25-30％ relative humidity room. Transportation：Avoiding insolation，rain and shock. Shelf life：2 years shelf life for well packed PVB in dry and suitable warehouse; it can keep 6 month for unpacked film in 18-20℃，25-30％ relative humidity room.
